Week 11

Almost There!


The first week of polishing wasn't any less work than the previous weeks. But it does give a better perspective on what everyone needs to do.

However, this time, there is an end in sight.
We were able to get a lot of work done in the first week, but there is still so much we would like to do!
A lot of the polishing we did is under the hood or in audio, so you wont see as much as we would like to show you in this blog.
Some examples would be a last hit mechanic, which when you punch someone into a trap would count it as your kill, as well as dropping weapons mechanics, controller rumble, etc.

However beyond that we also have again a few nice things to show.
First the things that are not yet in the game, but ready for implementation and done by next week.

Here's a sneak peak of some of our upcoming menus:

Our main menu, where you're greeted by our suspicious looking totem heads.



And our character selection screen, where you can pick your fighter to represent your tribe in their final battle.


Now for what is allready in the game.

The Final Animations!

The totem closes and opens its mouth to spit a curse cloud or fire


More rfx!

Among other things, we have a hit "swoosh" and a getting hit effect


The remaining weapons!

Our last weapons, allready finished last week are now also in the game.

A lot of balancing!
Implementing the last visual polishes!
And most importantly...

...getting rid of the last bugs!
