Week07


Starting to look more like it

This week, we got to throw more and more stuff together. We have started creating the final "glue" systems for the game, like the level and player behaviour, which are central pieces between all the other components we have created in the last weeks.
Thanks to those, the 'In Game' part of our game is now basically fully functional.

However a ton of bugs showed up as well this week. For example, we had some problems with multiple controller input that we fixed now, the players couldn't jump while running into walls which is also fixed now, ... Some of them are still at large, but we managed to get rid of most of them in a mob code review session.

Sadly, we do not have a lot of visual stuff to show off on the coding end due to all of this.  Unless you guys wanna see the code itself, there is a lot of new stuff there :P

However, since most of the game mechanics are finished anyway, the only new stuff you can expect from now on is a finish on the implementation of the animations (which will be great!) and a ton of traps and weapons implementations (with great art to make it actually interesting).
All of those we will show off proudly, in the coming weeks!
